I have been preoccupied and finally took a break to read all 3 of your latest posts—including all of the comments—which covered very well all of mine. Such exceptional contributions! Fantastico!!
It would be interesting to have an update on Harold Katcher's rejuvenation research, hopefully here on Substack, rather than ScienceBlog, where it is now almost impossible to get a comment to post, as several people have pointed out.
"I am looking for new partners to bring rejuvenation to all mankind. If we make money, fine, but getting a reproducible rejuvenation treatment that can be commercialized will completely change mankind's journey, and that is my mission. My last company did not allow me the freedom to develop the product, and wasted huge sums of money on nothing of value. I want to be CEO and direct the allocation of money to where it is really useful for all of our mutual goals; rejuvenation and life-extension. I already have proof of principle, it's a matter of record; and now it's a matter of engineering. I would like the assistance of people with on-hands research experience - we're going for the big prize (and may also get the Xprize on the way)."
and this, from a few days ago:
"At age 72 I went to India to begin a new line of research on reversing age, after years of trying, I succeeded. Had I only lived to 75, the world would have been without hope. ... What if all the learning and experience we have gained during a long life were not just thrown away by our deaths, but could still be employed to heal the world? I know this is possible, in fact probable and in years, not decades."
you can also find an email address there, if you look around.
"I continue working harder and harder, and I've quit my former company, and I'm forming a new company, because I didn't think they were going in the right direction, and following my advice. So I wanted to put my advice first, instead of some CEO. Most people think I did the right thing, actually."
It would be nice to have an update about how this project is going. Hopefully, interested people can help attract the attention and funding that Dr. Katcher's important work deserves.
Thanks for letting me know that the comment function is broken on Wordpress. I get intermittent reports of readers' frustration, but I didn't realize how bad it is.
I'm in touch with Harold but not following week-by-week details. He is working with two people I trust, Greg Fahy and Siham Ceballos, both of whom are smart biochemists and well-connected to funding sources. Wherever I have a chance to speak, I mention his situation and try to send talent and money in Harold's direction.
As I see it, Harold has the most promising rejuvenation technology available today, but much work remains to be done before it can go into human trials. One central logistical hurdle is that there is no intellectual property that would assure profit to an investor. Exosomes can't be patented. Perhaps the most important contribution to the effort would be a business plan that offers a reasonable chance of return on investment should the technology succeed. My guess is that funding needs are in the neighborhood of $50 million before we have a technology ready for human trials.
Experiments that need to be done:
* Methylation studies comparing Sima (longest-living rat) to her sisters who got the same treatment but did not live as long.
* Lifespan studies varying dosage, timing, and exosome source.
* Lifespan studies in a short-lived species not closely related to rats.
* Removing "old exosomes" in combination with adding "young exosomes".
* Innovative techniques for extracting exosomes at scale from young animals slaughtered for meat.
* Explore techniques for growing cell cultures to harvest exosomes without live animals.
* Experiments to see to what extent exosomes cross species barriers and retain the power to rejuvenate.
perhaps you could consider posting new articles for "Aging Matters" and "Experimental Frontiers" on Substack? Since you already have this blog here, it should be straightforward to create another.
I heard Danny talk many times about his efforts at the Christic Institute to rein in the Contras, Gen. Secord and the World Anti-Communist League. What we've learned in the past 4 years about the Pandemic being a production of the WEF places those earlier conspiracies in a context much easier to believe.
He is a hero of mine. This interview shows a Danny Sheehan that has been involved in so many of the crucial issues of the past century. (This pattern is reminiscent of Woody Allen's Zelig: He's everywhere!) Thank you for informing all of us about an important American.
I can think of a few people i would like to see "wormholed into distant parts of digestive galaxies". That is an excellent prospect. But wait, we are self-selecting crews. The deed is already done. Think of Schwab, Gates, Musk and Bezos with their Star Trek Enterprise outfits, haircuts, longings for starry empires, and geeky personaes. To each our own irresistable frequencies and destination-destinies.
animists/pagans would have no problem with alien existence.... christians indoctrinated by the church making the earth the center of the universe and man or Eden the greatest creation... of course, would have a major identity crisis... neverltheless we hear one goal of globalists is create some sort of new world religon around aliens and space whether they exist or not and it seems they have been busy creating ufo related stuff to build up the case for it.
I think we all need to keep our noses to our own grind stones and not be distracted from our own work of progression,,,, I have no doubt there is an infinity of other beings some good some otherwise...and many wanting to absorb us into their borg for various reasons,... yet if we are to become as powerful as the stars one day we must set up pur borders and protect our identities and expand continuously
I'm not going to hold my breath, as the self serving parasites in congress, will see that there is no benefit to Ukraine, Israel, or themselves and fumble, muddle and confuse the entire thing into the back pages of the National enquirer.

Thanks for your quick reply.
Some recent interviews with Dr. Katcher can be found on Youtube, where he alludes to his unfortunate troubles with Yuvan Research. This is sad.

Very helpful summaries. I watched the interview but still missed some of the information you picked up.

Thank You again for all of the good work you have put into this, Josh.
