I am very happy you wrote this up Josh. How was your presentation at Brownstone received? This is an incredibly important topic. Thank you for educating us.

😊 Well-received, thanks for asking. Some of the audience already had a sense of what was going on, but it was new to most of them.

Thank You, Josh. I appreciate your going back to 2001 and 1948. I was one of many people looking at Bev Harris' Black Box Voting for some years.

I've been an election monitor for the OSCE (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe) and have observed various elections (national and local) in Ukraine, Moldova and Montenegro. In none of those elections were mail in ballots allowed. I believe that was an OSCE rule - although it could have been a national rule based on OSCE advice. The point being, voter fraud is very easy to commit with mail in ballots, thus they weren't allowed in these newly "democratic" countries. All of the elections used paper ballots and were hand counted with results in by the next morning. The only allowance for non-in person voting was for the infirm, disabled, elderly-they had to apply for in home voting with their local election board. Then an election official and two or three observers from the various political parties would go to their homes with blank ballots and allow these people to vote. The ballots put in small, locked ballot boxes and taken back to the local election center. This might be a 20 or 30 ballots in a small town.

Essentially, all voting was done in person and with many observers in the election hall watching. Citizens and observers could see how many people came in to vote and thus how many ballots should be in the box at the end of the night.

As an observer, I was very impressed - it was transparent, orderly well run. If fraud occurred it happened at regional or national electoral centers. But because of the paper ballots, the lack of voting machines - audits and recounts could be done easily and quickly.

In contrast, Washington State, where I live is all done by mail in ballots, no in person voting allowed and counted by computers. It's also a one party state-not one state official is a republican. The only security protocol in this system is a signature check, supposedly looked at by an election official. That's it. So, its the honor system-and this system would not be accepted by the OSCE or in a small town in Moldova. Too many ways for fraud to occur and I believe they do.

Just a quick anecdote about our democracy in Washington State. Dino Rossi was the Republican candidate for governor in 2004- a mild mannered, middle of the road, pro-business type - and he won the election by a small margin. Then a day or two after the election, King county where Seattle is located happened to find a large mail bag or box of "uncounted ballots", just enough to push Rossi's Democratic opponent to victory. Something straight out of Mayor Daley's playbook in Chicago.

I don't trust a word from any of the local Democratic hacks running things in Seattle or Olympia nowadays. And I'm old enough to remember when Washington was really well run by both Republicans and Democrats. Now its just as awful as California-homelessness, drug addiction, prostitution, non-stop traffic, violent crime, high taxes, our beautiful forests destroyed for strip malls and horrendous apartment complexes. And nobody voted for any of this. "Democracy" at work.

Yes. Election day is a holiday. No mail-ins. Hand-counted paper ballots in a completely open, public process. Even the ballot box is made of glass. You can see that it's empty in the morning and you can see it fill up with folded paper during the day. Everyone can watch when it is opened.

Fair elections are not hard, if that were what they wanted -- if that's what WE want..

The process in Germany is fair and fraud proof, for postal voting as well, but besides the lack of any machines, that is also due to the mandatory residency registration law, facilities and data exchange (Einwohnermeldeamt).

The one in the UK to me seemed to be

similarly working, with weaknesses due to the lack of the above, until I found out that elections in the UK are not anonymous: all ballot papers are numbered and that number is linked to ones details.

I have the response and confirmation of that by the electoral officer on file.

One party here in South Africa made an interesting point after the voting this year, that the hand voting process is conducted in a transparent manner.. But the vote-counting and certifying is done by a body which no law requires it to be monitored by independent observers.. The party alleges that is where a fraud has taken place..

As someone who became actively involved in politics following the November 2020 election over concerns I have had about election integrity, I would like to see Kennedy call on the other candidates to join him in a pledge that, whoever it is that "wins" in November, that person will challenge the results of their own election and call for a thorough and transparent investigation of our election process.

It is something that Trump's own supporters SHOULD be eager for Trump to accept, and I believe that it is only through a challenge to the election process by someone who has been declared the "winner" that election integrity can ever be truly restored. Absent the challenge being posed from the position of a "winner," the divisive narratives continue, and all else is just chalked up to "sour grapes" on the part of the candidate who feels that the election was stolen.

Such a move from Kennedy would give the American people something for which we have so long been starved--and that is a measure of accountability. Kennedy could lead the charge to set a mandate from the voters right NOW that whoever "wins" will agree to demand such a thorough and transparent audit of the election.

Calling for the other candidates to publicly announce an agreement to this would go very far in helping to maintain PEACE following the general election, no matter what the outcome may prove to be. The messaging from Republican and Democratic candidates right now is one that encourages the escalation of a fight. Harris says, "When we fight, we win." Trump says, "Fight, fight, fight." But the message being conveyed is one that only furthers the tribal party politics and does nothing to unite the people in standing together in the righteous fight against a weaponized government.

There's far more in the story than meets the eye.. In one article that I have come across, it is stated by one US citizen that this is probably how Obama and Zelensky got to be presidents.. Here in South Africa, one opposition party made the same allegation of computers blanking out while projecting the votes this year, only to reflect different results immediately after .. The party, which is now in parliament has since swept the matter under the proverbial carpet..

Dems would rather lose than see actual changes that upset their apple cart. See, for an easy example, their complete dismissal of RFK Jr. Also how they treated Bernie, who I think would have beaten Trump. But the redshift in favor of Trump is really an unexpected thing to read, for 2016 anyhow.

You didn't mention the material gathered for the "10000 Mules" movie (did I get the name right?). Any thoughts on that movie's accuracy?

It's a really good point, and I should have evaluated "2,000 Mules" before writing this. I've now watched the video, but I haven't researched it. I find the Democratic retorts that dismiss it to be unconvincing. I wish there were someone reliable investigating this, but as I said at the conclusion: Neither political party wants transparent, verifiable elections.

Yeah, I think Josh's bottom line, that "neither the Republicans nor the Democrats want votes to be counted honestly" is accurate. The country seems pretty heavily Democratic, and demographics suggest it will get more so. Without the manipulations, the Republican party teeters on irrelevance. If that were to happen, what would fill the void? Some progressive alternative would emerge. Democratic party leaders and assorted other oligarchs surely want to prevent that. It's fine to lose to Republicans - you get the same public policy. Not ok to lose to Greens or whatever.

Expand full comment

I have to respectfully disagree that the country is "pretty heavy Democrat." That may be true in more declining urban areas and cities that export entertaunment,, but not in the American heartland. Even in a heavily populated county in Florida Democrats no longer have the votercregistration edge.

Expand full comment

I'm inclined to think "there are no blue states" - that is, only cities are Blue. Take Illinois. If not for Chicago, Illinois would be a "red" state, just like Indiana next door. What color would NY be without NYC? If KY had a city the size of NYC in it, or CHI, would it be "blue," too? If a state is small, like MD, or RI, or CT, does one big city also overwhelm the "red" parts of it? Recall that if you counted votes by COUNTY, "W" absolutely crushed Al Gore; OVERWHELMING victory in that scenario for the GOP.

We'll see if the longer-term impact of WFH is that people, having moved to the country, take on more conservative values. I don't have a strong feeling that this is actually the case, frankly.

Agree 100% when Bush and Kerry ran they were 2 sides of the same coin. Both Skull and Bones and when both asked about it in interviews both said it would not be a secret to tell. Then we seen starting with Bush Sr. the first to talk openly of a NWO led by a powerful United Nations with the WEF signing on with UN in 2019. (All claimed to be a conspiracy theory) https://www.weforum.org/press/2019/06/world-economic-forum-and-un-sign-strategic-partnership-framework/ Then we had the Clintons, George Bush, then Obama, all expanding powers and creating new positions. The same last living Presidents, other than Trump starting an NGO for illegal immigrants. Check out Biden/Penn University “A Roadmap for Rebuilding the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program.” Trump really put the screws in it. If Hillary would have gotten in then, we would already be further in the hell hole. Obama had said even though he got elected, they were still working behind the scenes. We witnessed that first hand over the years and the non stop persecutions. What I have found is they don't want people that can make sense out of understandable language, they prefer double speak. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/obama-bush-clinton-afghan-refugees-welcome-us/ Sept 2021 Such rabbit holes they have dug for the American people and other Nations suffering from illegal immigration, being used at every point against the people.

Ridiculous! There was massive election and voter fraud in 2020 to steal the election for the Democrats. And, there is a massive amount of evidence that proves it.

Expand full comment

Please point me to the arguments that Democrats stole the 2020 election. Jon Simon points out that the Republicans outperformed their polling in all the down-ticket races. I think it's hard to know what happened because so much of the vote was by mail, and completely unverifiable.

Election officials in Georgia want to check up on the voting machines with a hand count. This is the first time I've ever heard of anyone in power doubting the integrity of the machines. Curiously this is a Republican initiative, and Democrats are objecting. The article is very Orwellian, suggesting hand counts are fraudulent and only machines are to be trusted. I can barely hazard a guess as to what's going on.

Aiy yi yi—I’ve been saying for years that “they” just allow us to pretend play in the game, ie team sports, red jersey, blue jersey, but that the real power, behind the "white curtain” has already decided the next victor.

It only also makes sense, that anything can be hacked. Yet, we all expect those running the casino machines to be fair umpires.

“The software that counts votes... ruled by our Supreme Court to be a trade secret of the companies that manufactures the machines.” Although I get not wanting to put out how to builld ild nuclear blow-up thingys to everyone, this sentence somehow reminded me of the red flag re covid ingredient. NO- you shalt not know what is in this hypodermic to be injected into your bloodstream—as the ingredients are secret “propietary.” What? —in the middle of a world pandemic, we aren’t sharing our secret recipe because money is more important than life? I digress...

And then the equation continues, as in who are the companies owning the software & machines, & who are the employees with access/ethics….Oh-fogettabout it!

What’s classically funny re Trump is that anytime he points the finger at someone/thing, it is the very thing that he is guilty of. So election tampering, why not?!

We can make bank ATMS that rarely count out the money incorrectly, put a man on the moon, & yet we cannot make a voter machine somehow unicorn secure & fair? Ha. I’m now seeing the next phase of chips in brains & eye scans & yet none of it will ever be fail safe. We just need integrity in each stage of being, but woah -wrong planet for that!

So, basically, he with the most pennies, wins? Just humor me & give me a fairy tale ending that the best & the fairest of all will wins.

Ok- thanks for adding to my cynical neurosis. I’m going to go scout out some Disney movies now & pretent the world is a fair place:). PS-great detailed article!

What can be done...we have 3 months to get this story out to the mainstream. How can we do it?

Expand full comment

Even if you could get the story out, the average American won't be convinced. In the words of Carl Sagan, "One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we've been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We're no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It's simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we've been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back."
